According to our survey, the surge in AI-related topics and application demands in 2024 has significantly benefited relevant industries. Taiwan's major tech companies commenced their year-end celebrations in late December last year, inviting top-tier singers and bands to perform at employee appreciation events. While these performances generated substantial revenue, scheduling conflicts remained challenging. Through the integration of AI technology with musical culture, Inventec's self-developed virtual artist platform enables simultaneous multi-venue performances using robust computing capabilities.

At the recent CES exhibition concluding on January 10, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang identified AI Agents as the most crucial AI application for 2025, sparking global discussions about "virtual human technological and application trends." These discussions spanned from conceptual origins to cross-domain applications driven by technological advancements, comprehensively demonstrating virtual humans' profound impact on the digital economy and future potential.

Inventec, a leader in AI hardware manufacturing and software R&D, explains that virtual humans have evolved from simple gaming characters to core components of digital economic ecosystems. Enhanced by AI advancements, they now exhibit heightened realism and emotional intelligence, finding versatile applications across entertainment, fashion, retail, education, and healthcare sectors as key economic drivers.

Future developments in virtual human technology will focus on breakthroughs in ultra-realism, personalization, digital asset enhancement, and ethical/privacy protections, fostering human-machine collaboration models to propel digital economic ecosystems.

Virtual Humans (Virtual Human), computer-generated entities powered by AI, initially served movie and gaming special effects. Rapid digital advancements have dramatically improved their 3D realism and intelligence, expanding application scopes. In 2023, Gartner recognized virtual humans among the top five transformative digital technologies for enterprises, manifesting as digital twins, avatars, humanoid robots, and generative AI to drive innovative business models through human-like interactions.

Deloitte defines virtual humans as entities capable of interpreting user input with contextual non-verbal responses, featuring rich emotional expression. Despite varied terminology ("Digital Human," "AI Avatar," "Virtual Companion"), these terms collectively underscore virtual humans' significance in digital technology applications.

As global digital economies expand, virtual humans have become indispensable, driving cross-industry innovation and market value growth. Through diverse interactive formats, they revolutionize brand experiences and personal lifestyles, exemplified by Inventec's VRSTATE digital economic ecosystem.

Inventec's Metaverse Division reveals virtual human applications are expanding from media (virtual hosts/anchorpersons) and service roles (AI assistants/customer service) to diverse industries including virtual guides, educators, artists, caregivers, health consultants, and legal advisors.

At Inventec's 50th Anniversary celebration, supported by multiple partners including the Cultural Development Council, Qunzhen Productions, knitwear designer Pan Yiliang, and Fu Jen University's Textile Department, virtual artist Mila Mii performed four songs: Taiwanese opera-inspired dance track "Love and Hate," EDM hit "Boyfriend Crusher" with virtual dancers, romantic ballad "Recovery," and Coco Lee tribute "You're in My Heart."

Inventec's Metaverse Division demonstrated how AI computing power, real-time software processing, and Unreal Engine's 3D modeling create hyper-realistic virtual artists. Music producer Chen Zihong developed Mila Mii's persona, backstory, and AI-generated vocals, showcasing technology's role in creating soulful digital artists and diversifying musical creativity.

The anniversary event featured a "Favorite Song & Love for Mila Mii" raffle, enhancing attendee interaction while collecting data for AIGC analysis of musical preferences to guide marketing and artistic development. Producer Chen noted this initiative establishes commercial performance benchmarks while informing Mila Mii's artistic direction. Future collaborations will expand into concerts, endorsements, and AI Agent applications, advancing Mila Mii's international career.
