Youth from Both Sides of the Strait: Gather in Kunshan, Discussing Fashion!

Recently, more than 50 young people from both sides of the Taiwan Strait gathered in Kunshan, embarking on an exciting fashion and creative study tour.

Through industrial internships, employment and entrepreneurship training, cultural design field trips and other forms, they conducted exchanges and interactions around the theme of fashion creativity, enhancing their understanding of the fashion industries on both sides, and injecting new vitality into the integrated development of the fashion and creative industries across the Strait.

Young people from both sides of the Strait, with different cultural backgrounds and growth experiences, met, got to know each other, and blended here. Among them are aspiring design newcomers, adventurous entrepreneurial youths, and students who are curious about the fashion industry. They gathered together, using creativity to illuminate fashion and communication to gather strength.

Industrial Internship and Training - Unleashing Power through Practice

At the Chenfeng Fashion Creative Industry Park, Chenfeng Group headquarters and factory, the youth from both sides seemed to be immersed in an ocean of creativity, personally experiencing the entire process of clothing production from scratch.

From capturing design inspiration, selecting and matching fabrics, going through the product manufacturing process, to brand promotion and market operation, they moved between workshops, observing carefully and asking questions actively. They exchanged ideas deeply with mainland youth, not only learning professional knowledge but also feeling the warmth and vitality of the fashion and creative industry.

Taiwanese youth, Zeng: Today, I saw the whole industry chain operation from design proofing to raw material processing, then to product production and after-sales service. This highly efficient collaborative model amazed me!

Taiwanese youth, Cai: This industrial internship visit let me see the vigorous development of the mainland's fashion industry, and also showed me my own infinite possibilities. I believe this experience will become precious nourishment for my future studies and entrepreneurial path. I hope that one day, I can integrate my design concepts into such an industrial chain and create my own brand.

Employment and Entrepreneurship Training - Igniting the Spark of Entrepreneurial Dreams

In order to help the youth from both sides better plan their future, the event specially arranged a visit to the Kunshan Cross-Straits Youth Entrepreneurship Park. Here, they gained an in-depth understanding of Kunshan's entrepreneurial environment, various preferential policies for entrepreneurship, and the construction and development of the entrepreneurial park.

Professional mentors in the park brought cutting-edge industry knowledge and practical entrepreneurial skills to the youth from both sides. The entrepreneurial youth in the park also shared their own entrepreneurial stories, from the initial budding of dreams to taking root and growing stronger. Every entrepreneurial story deeply inspired the Taiwanese youth present.

Taiwanese youth, Huang: This visit to Kunshan not only taught me the basic concepts and practical processes of business planning but also further informed me on how to apply for entrepreneurial subsidies, which is greatly helpful for future entrepreneurial planning.

Taiwanese youth, Lin: This employment and entrepreneurship training provided an "energy refueling station" for my future entrepreneurship. The experience sharing from entrepreneurial predecessors saved me from many detours and made me full of confidence in the future. Here, I found the direction of entrepreneurship, sparked wisdom, and gained like-minded partners.

Cultural Design Field Trip - Drawing Inspiration from Traditional Culture

In order to let the youth from both sides better understand the excellent traditional Chinese culture and spark creative inspiration, the event meticulously arranged a cultural design field trip, leading them to places like Suzhou Silk Museum, Kunshan Huiju Square, Opera Hundred Plays Museum, and Zhouzhuang Ancient Town in Kunshan.

Ancient architecture, exquisite handicrafts, unique folk customs, etc., all became sources of their design inspiration. They used cameras to record beautiful moments and brushes to depict their creative ideas.

Taiwanese youth, Liu: I want to integrate traditional cultural elements into my own design works, allowing more people to feel the charm of traditional culture!

Taiwanese youth, You: I have witnessed rich traditional crafts and modern design concepts, broadening my horizons. I hope to apply what I've learned to design and create more culturally distinctive works in the future.

This study tour allowed the Taiwanese youth to embark on their return journey with full harvest and emotion, looking forward to the future with anticipation and confidence. We look forward to more youth from both sides exploring the endless possibilities of fashion creativity together and jointly painting a beautiful picture of the fashion and creative industries across the Strait.
