Inventec's metaverse strategy is gaining traction. The company is set to unveil its latest technological achievement, the "VRSTATE Metaverse Photo Frame," at COMPUTEX 2025, scheduled from May 20th to 23rd in Taipei. This is Inventec's first display device integrating metaverse technology and 2D-to-3D conversion functionality, targeting enterprise customers to boost sales performance.
Inventec's Metaverse Technology Division noted that the "VRSTATE Metaverse Photo Frame" primarily utilizes 3D autostereoscopic technology. Users can enjoy advanced 3D visual effects with the naked eye, without needing additional wearable devices. The frame features built-in 32GB storage capacity, capable of storing at least 10,000 photos. Users simply need to scan a QR code with their smartphones to pair instantly and easily share remote photos.
Inventec emphasized that the "VRSTATE Metaverse Photo Frame" targets enterprise clients. When discussing the product's advantages, Inventec explained that the device employs a thin "lenticular film" applied onto the hardware screen. Using lenticular lens technology, it achieves glasses-free 3D imaging. When users scan a QR code to upload images to Inventec's cloud, the internal system rapidly converts 2D images into 3D, completing the process in under three seconds.
